There's No Day Like Your Wedding Day! That look, the romance, that special dance with Dad. Your family and friends who are together to celebrate your special day with you and your husband (there's that word!). It's all so fleeting. It's special; it's unique; and your photographer only gets one chance to get it right. It has to be right the first time because it's the only time that these magical moments will ever exist. We're there to capture these moments, and you don't even notice that we're there! We can photograph any wedding you can dream up! I mean any wedding, and that's not just the big "wedding of the century" that lasts all weekend!
You see, there are lots of brides who are very value conscious and simply want to have their wedding photographed. No fancy albums or portraits - just really good photography for a few hours. I live within 20 minutes of Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain - and just 30 minutes to Vail and Beaver Creek. This is my "home" turf, and I specialize in destination weddings at these areas. Why Should You Hire Me?I learned the very challenging art of photographing high-end weddings in Washington, DC - one of the most sophisticated and competitive areas in the country. I learned that the most important thing I can do for you is to take really good care of you, and help you have a wonderful, stress-free day where you can really enjoy the moments of your wedding and your guests. Many photographers will say that the most important thing about your wedding day is the photographs - but I strongly disagree with them. The most important thing is that you have a romantic, magical wedding day and enjoy the time with your family and friends. Sure, you want to have wonderful photographic memories of the day that you can enjoy in the years to come, but not at the expense of having a photographer ruin your day by monopolizing your time and keeping you from your family and guests. My style is to work quickly and politely as we capture the formal photographs of you, your wedding party and families. We do as much of the formal photography as we can before the ceremony (always honoring your wishes), so that the formal photography after the ceremony will be minimized (or even eliminated) and you can quickly leave for your reception. All of the remaining photography is done in a photojournalistic style emphasizing spontaneity and naturalness. My goal is to capture the joy, the romance, the relationships and moments that occur throughout the reception that will have almost magical meaning to you and your family and friends - without anyone noticing that I'm even there! Now I live in the Colorado High Country - Frisco, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains just 75 miles west of Denver - and I specialize in mountain weddings. It's vital that you and your photographer are compatible, and that you both have a complete understanding of what is expected for your wedding day. Your photographer is your personal representative to your family and friends, and you want someone in whom you will have complete confidence and trust. I will never violate that confidence.
